LAC Test Overview

Lupus anticoagulants are antibodies that interfere with normal blood clotting function and increase the risk of developing blood clots in veins and arteries. Infections like syphilis and hepatitis C can increase the likelihood of acquiring lupus anticoagulants. The Lupus Anticoagulants (LAC) profile is a diagnostic test used to detect the presence of lupus anticoagulant antibodies in the blood.
