Your doctor might recommend this test if you have
• symptoms suggestive of pheochromocytomas such as high blood pressure, headaches, sweating, and palpitations, or

During this test, a small sample of your blood will be taken for analysis. The sample will be tested using the EIA (Enzyme Immunoassay) method.
