Calretinin IHC

Abnormal results may indicate various conditions affecting mesothelial cells, including mesothelioma. However, it is important to note that abnormal results do not provide a definitive diagnosis, and further evaluation by your doctor is necessary. Other conditions can also cause a positive result, such as reactive mesothelial hyperplasia or granulomas.

• A tissue sample will be obtained, usually from a previous biopsy or surgery.
