Ms. Simmi Singh Bisht

Ms. Simmi Singh Bisht is a Qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi and she has completed Masters in Law from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women’s Institute, Mumbai. She has also completed ACL from Governance Institute of Australia.

She has been recognized as a powerful woman in IP India in 2021 by WIPF Powerful Women in IP. She carries herself with 15 years of rich and progressive experience in advising the organizations on many Legal, Corporate Governance issues, major IPR issues such as Trademark, Copyright, etc. She has been associated with Ventura Textiles, Pearls Dhanashree, Elpro International Limited and IITL Projects Limited. Her previous assignment was with Balaji Telefilms Limited as a Group Head Secretarial. In her current role in the Company as a Head Legal and Secretarial, she shall provide legal, financial and strategic advice to the management, oversee all secretarial aspects and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships on behalf of the Company, manage all legal matters including criminal, civil, arbitration, etc., protect the interest of MHL before various courts, Tribunals, Arbitrators, Regulators, Law enforcement agencies and Statutory bodies, etc.
