Diya is a seasoned HR leader with over two decades of experience in driving strategic people initiatives, building high-performance cultures, and advancing talent and engagement strategies across telecom, retail, and QSR sectors.
She spent 19 impactful years at McDonald’s India (Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd.), where she significantly improved people productivity, reduced attrition, and championed diversity and inclusion. Her efforts earned the organization recognition from Great Place to Work® in 2019 and 2020.
Before joining Metropolis Healthcare, Diya was part of the leadership team at Third Wave Coffee, where she helped scale operations from 10 to 140 cafés. She established strong HR foundations and built a compelling employer brand in the startup ecosystem.
Diya holds a Postgraduate Degree in Management Studies from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, a Master’s in Labor Law from Pune University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Her ability to align people strategy with business goals makes her a key driver of Metropolis’ growth and culture.
