C1 Esterase Inhibitor Serum

This test measures the levels of C1 Esterase Inhibitor in your blood.

The C1 Esterase Inhibitor Serum test is mainly done to

• Diagnose and monitor Hereditary Angioedema (HAE).

This test involves drawing a small sample of blood from a vein in your arm using a needle and a syringe. You may feel a slight pinch as the needle is inserted, but the procedure is generally quick and painless.

Before the test:

• Fasting is not required.
