RSV-IgM Antibody by EIA - Serum

This test measures the levels of specific IgM antibodies that are produced by your immune system in response to RSV infection.

• To detect specific IgM antibodies against the Respiratory syncytial virus • To determine the presence of an active RSV infection in high-risk individuals, such as newborns and immunocompromised patients

Abnormal results indicating high levels of IgM antibodies may suggest a recent RSV infection.
