QIAstat Dx - Respiratory SARS-CoV-2 Panel Overview

The QIAstat Dx respiratory SARS CoV 2 panel is a multiplexed nucleic acid real-time PCR test designed for the qualitative detection and differentiation of nucleic acid from multiple respiratory viral and bacterial organisms, including SARS-CoV-2. This test is used to identify the presence of various pathogens that cause respiratory symptoms in individuals suspected of COVID-19 or other respiratory infections.

The QIAstat Dx respiratory panel can detect and differentiate nucleic acid from 22 different bacteria and viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2, Adenovirus, Coronaviruses (229E, HKU1, NL63, OC43), Human Metapneumovirus, Influenza A and B, Parainfluenza viruses, Rhinovirus/Enterovirus, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and several bacterial pathogens like Bordetella pertussis, Chlamydophila pneumoniae, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
