A hypertension profile is a group of tests that are used to evaluate a person's blood pressure and assess the risk of hypertension (high blood pressure). The test includes the following:

• Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS): High blood sugar levels can be a sign of diabetes, which is a leading cause of hypertension.
• Total Cholesterol: High cholesterol levels can increase the risk of hypertension and heart disease.
• Triglycerides: High levels of this type of fat in the blood can increase the risk of hypertension and heart disease.
• HDL (good) Cholesterol: Low levels of this type of cholesterol can increase the risk of hypertension and heart disease.
• LDL (bad) Cholesterol: High levels of this type of cholesterol can increase the risk of hypertension and heart disease.
• Creatinine: High levels of creatinine in the blood can indicate kidney damage, which can be a complication of hypertension.
• Uric Acid: High levels of uric acid can indicate gout, a condition that can be related to hypertension.
