Dialysis Panel

Dialysis is a medical procedure used to remove excess waste and fluids from the body when the kidneys are no longer functioning properly. The kidneys are responsible for filtering waste and excess fluid from the blood, but when they can no longer perform this function, dialysis is used to help patients maintain their health. The Dialysis Panel is a comprehensive set of laboratory tests commonly performed on patients undergoing dialysis treatment. These tests help monitor and assess various parameters related to the patient's overall health and kidney function. The panel typically includes the following tests: CBC, FBS, Electrolytes, Proteins, Alkaline Phosphatase, Ca, P, Uric Acid, Creatinine, BUN. The Dialysis Panel measures different attributes that help diagnose and monitor kidney problems, including electrolyte balance, glucose level, blood protein count, alkaline phosphatase, BUN (blood urea nitrogen), uric acid, calcium and phosphorus levels. It also measures creatinine levels for monitoring kidney function.
