Breast Carcinoma Profile II

The "Breast Carcinoma Profile II" test is performed on a Tru-cut biopsy sample from a breast lesion. It involves two important components: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2/neu): This part of the test aims to determine the HER2/neu protein expression level in the breast cancer cells.
