Allergen,Individual-Insect Cockroach German Blatella Germanica

Adult German cockroaches s are mostly found indoors and are often spotted in small spaces such as under sinks, cabinets, and garbage containers. These pests can produce allergens from their feces, saliva, and when they shed body parts. These allergens are like dust mites and get in the air through different activities such as vacuuming or sweeping.

The saliva, feces and shedding body parts of cockroaches can trigger asthma and allergies. Symptoms can become aggravated when these allergens are airborne. An allergy to Cockroach German (Blatella germanica) triggers a reaction in an individual's immune system. The body views certain substances as toxic and produces IgE antibodies to these contaminants. These antibodies cause histamine to be released, which will cause the symptoms of an allergic reaction.
