BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Naushad joined Metropolis in the year 2015. He started developing the Dermatopathology section in the Northeast and conducted Dermatopathology CME for the first time in the Northeast. Dr. Naushad slowly started developing the specialization and now gets Skin biopsies from all Govt Medical colleges of Assam including private practitioners, and also neighboring states. He has taken slide seminars for postgraduates. Dr. Naushad also has a keen interest in GI biopsy and has developed this area. When he joined Metropolis in the year 2015, the surgical pathology biopsy load was 1500 to 1800 per year. Now presently it's 10000 to 11000 per year. He has also been invited as faculty in Dermatopathology Conference and CME in national and state level and to conducted workshops for Immunofluorescence in skin biopsy in State Annual conference 2023. Dr. Naushad has been a panelist in Annual CME of ENT at state level in 2019.
