BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Kavita started her career as a histopathologist at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and learned various subspecialties like Flow Cytometry and HLA. She has been reporting independently since September 2011. In 2016, Dr. Kavita relocated to Chennai and joined a standalone lab where she developed skills in Laboratory medicine, Quality assurance and inventory management. After joining Metropolis, she has been reporting Hematology, Histopathology, ANA immunofluorescence, HLA tissue cross match and Flow cytometry.

Awards

Received “International outstanding researcher award” for a case report on “Cutaneous metastasis masquerading as an internal malignancy, Hilar cholangiocarcinoma” from the ISSN International Research Awards Congress 2024.
