NMO AQP4-Ab -are disease specific auto Ab, found in in 70-80% NMO Patients. MOG Antibodies are present in 20% of AQP4 –Seronegative patients with a phenotype of NMOSD (neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder). MOG antibodies are found in Patients positive for MOG-IgG have a high risk of recurrent disease course. Analyzing CSF for these antibodies can improve diagnostic sensitivity in seronegative patients.
