INDORE: PARAKH METROPOLIS
Dr Suresh Gidwani started Parakh as his proprietary concern sometime in October 1993, from a small set up of 300 sq ft & working capital of Rs 1.5 lacks from Vikram Towers, Sapna Sangita Rd.Indore.
Looking at the growing market and realizing that additional investment will help Parakh reap benefits of growing market size and awareness, in 1996 PARAKH started new lab at Satya Complex, Sapna Sangita Rd with build up area of approximately 750 sq ft. The new lab boasts of all upgraded instruments like Imex, Automated Biochemistry, Cell counter, ELISA Reader.
Between the years 1996 to 1999, PARAKH added IHC technology in Electrolytes, Coagulometer, TDX, Nephelometer. Sometime in the year 2001 / 02, PARAKH started new venture in collaboration with Dr Sunil M Jain Endocrinologist at New Palasia, Indore under the MOU dated January 1 st 2001.
In 2001 launched Axym that was first in central India at DHRTS. In 2004-5 added one more Axym, Nephelometer, thermal cycler.
In 2006 launched Immuno histo chemistry. In 2008 introduced HPLC D10 for HbA1c testing of Bio RAD.
In 2009, Metropolis partnered with Parakh to form the all new Parakh Metropolis. Metropolis Healthcare aims to bring to the table its international expertise in diagnostics to Indore by partnering with Parakh Pathology.
